Singpoli Group, owners of the new dusitD2 constance pasadena hotel, are proud to unveil their Bright Future float, which portrays a 55-foot-long firebird with flapping wings with a 30-foot wingspan made up of tens of thousands of orchids, roses and fire pyrotechnics.
Bright Future represents one of the world’s most
ancient stories of hope, optimism and rebirth
the legend of the firebird
rising from the ashes to soar again
Bright Future is symbolic not only of the renaissance of the city of Pasadena but also this year’s opening of dusitD2 constance pasadena, a contemporary hotel located in a historic landmark. The property first opened in 1926 as The Constance Hotel and is now home to Pasadena’s most design-forward hotel blending high-tech amenities with traditional Thai hospitality.
A second phase of the hotel’s development, which will be completed in 2016, will include 25 club level guest rooms with a club lounge, a rooftop pool with an outdoor sundeck and pool bar, a fitness center, two intimate meeting rooms, and new retail and dining outlets adjacent to the hotel.
Travelers and locals are invited to experience the new D2 Restaurant and d’bar, offering hand-crafted cocktails, an eclectic wine list, premium artisanal beers and shared plates that present an upscale Asian fusion of classic bites. A special $6.26 happy hour pays homage to Pasadena and its 626 area code.
Singpoli serves as the presenting sponsor of the Pasadena Symphony and members of the symphony will ride on the float. During the parade, the float will play Igor Stravinsky’s immortal “Firebird” ballet.
